About Us
Welcome to SHEFA – Where Livestock Meets Legacy

At SHEFA, we don’t just raise livestock — we steward legacy. Nestled in the heart of the veld, our farm is built on faith, vision, and genetics that matter. From world-class Bonsmara cattle to veld-adapted goats and sheep, every animal on our land reflects our commitment to excellence and divine provision — or as we call it, Shefa.

“Shefa” means abundance, and that’s exactly what we pursue: generation after generation of thriving, veld-smart livestock bred with purpose.

OUR FOCUS
Our Focus: Quality-Driven Bonsmara
We are proud to be building a Bonsmara stud of true substance — one animal, one decision at a time.

Carefully selected females like Lot 75 (LAR 22-373, acquired at R200,000) are the cornerstone of our herd’s future. Backed by data, raised with care, and built for performance, our Bonsmaras are bred for growth, fertility, and frame — and above all, for legacy.

Explore Our farm

Alongside our Bonsmara, we also raise two types of goats — pure white Savanna stud goats and indigenous veld goats with Cape ear lobes, known for their rich dappled or “appelbok” colouring. These goats are selected for their natural hardiness and ability to thrive in veld conditions. Our Meatmaster sheep and springbuck further reflect our commitment to sustainable, veld-smart farming.

Horses roam freely through the heart of the farm — not bred or sold, but simply part of the rhythm. They remind us daily of the stillness, joy, and quiet companionship that make life at SHEFA so deeply rewarding.
